Hi Poornima,
I read your article on old bangalore in yahoo, felt really cool. Even I do visit Lalbagh very often, it is really very beautiful if visited early morning at around 5.30am during winter. some time ago there used to be light music at 6.30am to 8.30am by kannada and samskruthi elakhe, even now those musics are still in my memory. I am recalling some of the nostalgic places after reading your article : Rama Anjayena gudda, Kahale bande, Rameshwara swamy temple, Gavigangadhareshwara temple, Bull temple, Dodda Ganesha temple, Kumaraswamy temple, Yogavana Hills, Mahalakshmi Tiffin Room(DVG Road), Vidhyarthi Bhavan, Tagore Circle, KrishnaRao Park, APS field, Mallikarjuna Temple, Tippu palace, K R Market, Tippu Fort, Yuvaka Sangha, Middle class MG Road(DVG Rd), National High School play ground & swimming pool, Madappana Mess,

Thanks for writing an good article.

Hi Gerrit,
Thanks for the comment. Camping here is professionally conducted, especially in the himalayas. Down south, there are many camping sites where good quality tents are provided by many adventure groups. You could check out sites like eco India(http://www.ecoindia.com/activities/camping.html) or www.responsibletravel.com & similar sites for details.
